Your software needs configurable SMTP settings or an HTTP API integration. For SMTP, complete emails must be under 10 MB, with up to 50 recipients per submission. Ask us about your setup.

How sending and billing work
This is a monthly allowance, not a bill for actual usage. Plans renew monthly until canceled. Each recipient accepted for sending counts once, including To, CC and BCC recipients. Retries do not count again. Sending pauses at your allowance; there are no automatic overage charges. Unused sends do not roll over. You can buy extra capacity in your account for the full price difference; your monthly renewal amount increases too. Later bounces remain billable. Applicable taxes are shown in billing. Up to 10 MB and 50 recipients per submission. Sending and purchases open after delivery setup is verified.

Is this different from SignalPost email marketing?
Yes. SignalPost email marketing helps you create campaigns, manage audiences and automate follow-up. Email delivery connects to software that already creates your receipts, account messages and notifications. You can choose delivery on its own, with separate billing. See the email marketing platform.
Do I need a developer?
If your software lets you enter an SMTP server, you can copy in the settings from SignalPost. A developer can connect a custom app through the API. Domain verification may need help from whoever manages your domain. Ask our team about your software.
Can I send newsletters and promotions through the relay?
This relay release is for requested account, order and notification emails. For permission-based newsletters and promotions, use SignalPost email marketing.
What happens if my sending volume changes?
Your account warns you at 80% usage. You can buy extra capacity in your account for the full price difference; the larger allowance becomes available after payment and raises your monthly renewal amount. Previously counted sends stay counted. To reduce capacity at renewal, contact our team.
At the limit, new emails are not accepted until you add capacity or the allowance renews. Already accepted emails remain queued for delivery. There are no automatic overage charges, and unused sends do not roll over.
Does “delivered” mean it reached the inbox?
It means the recipient’s email service accepted the email. The receiving service decides where it goes. Relay reports do not infer human reading or inbox placement; relay mail does not add open-tracking pixels or rewrite links.
Can I buy through a cloud marketplace?
Cloud marketplace purchasing is planned and is not available yet. Direct connections use your SignalPost account.
